Instacart’s new features give shoppers more ways to earn on their own schedules

Instacart introduces two new features created to offer users on its site more chances to earn. Instacart is launching “queued batches” which give shoppers the chance to purchase a second batch prior to completing the one they’re currently shopping. After shoppers have completed the purchase of their present batch, they are able to begin shopping for their next batch. Instacart states that this new service gives customers the freedom to shop according to their own time and optimize their time at any time they decide to shop.

The company also plans to launch “multi-store add-ons orders” which will give customers the chance to purchase separate orders for customers from nearby stores, in addition to the store that they’re currently shopping at.

For instance, if you’re shopping for a batch at a supermarket and you’re provided with an added-on purchase from an alcohol retailer near. Then, you can shop for the new alcohol purchase prior to handing both orders over to customers, which allows you to complete two orders at once, without the need to travel to town for a second trip. Instacart promises that customers will get extra time to finish the entire multi-store order. The new service is designed to cut down on travel time between customers’ homes prior to placing further orders.
