In the annually held Worldwide Developers Conference ( WWDC) today, Apple announced that it’s unveiling a brand newly-designed Health application for iPad. The app will be available in conjunction with iPadOS 17 later this year. With the app’s new version, people will now be able to view their health information like electrocardiogram results as well as a larger display.
The tech giant explains that because your health information is encrypted you can view the information about your health from all of your iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch and also compatible third-party applications and devices in one location. Apple claims that the app comes with a design optimized to work with the iPad display. Additionally, Favorites is updated with a fresh look and users will be able to get insight into their health information through Trends, Highlights, and interactive charts that are detailed.
For developers, HealthKit is coming to iPad and will open up new possibilities to create fitness and health-related experiences into their apps that integrate the data that users give away.
