While platforms such as Reddit as well as Twitter are changing their rules and making it challenging for developers of third-party clients, the community of Mastodon applications is continuing to grow. Today, independent designer Jake Nelson released a simple iOS application named Radiant that focuses on simplicity and functionality.
Other clients, like Woolly, Ivory, and Mammoth as well as Woolly are developed by developers who used to have the most popular Twitter clients before their being banned by the Elon Musk platform ostracized them. But, Nelson did not have a social media application in his portfolio of development. He has launched several applications, including cookie blockers for Safari and the barcode scanner application for storing these in an electronic wallet as well as a game of words, under the company name the Small Colossus.
Nelson claimed that he began creating Radiant because he moved to Mastodon and couldn’t find a suitable app to use the decentralized social network.

“I discovered that after the introduction of Twitter Blue and the algorithm adjustments, my feed got noticeably more sluggish. Many people in users in the iOS users on Twitter began to talk about switching to Mastodon which they did which is why I decided to go for it to do the exact same.
