Pixel phones 6 and 7 appear to be the most affected in the least if Reddit is believed to be true. There are several threads on Reddit from owners of Pixel 6 and 7 complaining about the problems.
Based on at most an individual thread the issue appears to be connected to an app called the Carrier Services app and can be fixed by the app’s update this application. But, some have said that this method didn’t work at all.

A second problem is surfacing at this moment, with a number of Pixel owners complaining about intermittent app crashes. Don’t forget to make a backup point that is recent.
Other options are to reboot the device or as a last resort do a factory restart and reset your phone by using an existing backup. That sounds…inconvenient, but if nothing else works, it’s worth a try. Make sure to make a backup point that is recent.
